About Sprig Herbals

Short Description

Sprig Herbals is a small, herbalist founded company producing high quality loose leaf teas and herbal extracts. Sprig seeks to bring herbs and traditional preparation methods out of the medicine cabinet and into the kitchen through flavor first formulation.

Long Description

Sprig Herbals is an Idaho based herbal company grounded in traditional Western herbalism. This herbalist founded and run herbal company formulates flavorful loose leaf teas and herbal extracts that make it easy and delicious to incorporate more herbs into daily life.

Sprig grew from the simple realization that herbs belong in more than just the medicine cabinet. There are an abundance of herbs that have functional benefits and also incredible flavors. Our products are formulated to celebrate both.

Sprig brings together a foundation of traditional herbalism and a personal relationship with the plants we choose, while also drawing on modern scientific research and rigorous quality practices.

That means paying close attention to where our herbs come from, verifying the identity and quality of the plant material we receive, evaluating herbs with our senses as well as documentation and specifications, and maintaining careful production and batch records. Our finished herbal extracts are also third-party laboratory tested for heavy metals, pesticide residues, and microbial contaminants.
